General information from CCR Roofing, not an assessment of your property.
TPO.
A single-ply thermoplastic membrane, commonly white and reflective, with heat-welded seams. It is a frequent choice for commercial low-slope roofs.
EPDM.
A synthetic rubber membrane with a long track record on low-slope roofs. Seams are typically adhered or taped rather than heat-welded.
PVC.
A thermoplastic membrane with heat-welded seams, often chosen where chemical or grease exposure is a concern, such as restaurant rooftops.
What decides the system.
The existing roof, insulation, drainage, rooftop equipment, building use, and budget all matter. An assessment of the actual roof is the right starting point.
